2012 ENGSCI-BME Coast to Class Relay!
Building on last year's success of the first Coast to Coast relay running race across Auckland, we are proud to bring you the:
2012 ENGSCI-BME Coast to Class Relay!
The event will be held on Sunday 21st October, and it will be an awesome team challenge to round off the year. The route will be similar to last year with a few exciting new twists & turns thrown in to spice things up.

Details
- The relay course will consist of 4 legs of 3-5km each: each team must have at least 1 girl and be no more than 4 per team.
- There is an option for 2 or 3 person teams if one person wants to run an extra leg.
- There is a Solo Option for the mighty - the course is 16.2km (400m total ascent, 350m total descent)
- Start at 10am, finish at approximately 1pm. Total run time will be 1 - 1.5 hours (over all 4 legs).
- $5 per person entry to cover post event BBQ and prizes. Please pay cash to Kim at reception on level 2.
- Please enter your team by Wednesday 10th October 12pm.
The finish venue will be Dove Meyer Park near the Parnell Baths. This will be a great finish venue if it is sunny. Otherwise we'll seek cover at the Paddington Pub in Parnell and have prizegiving, food & drinks there.

Postgraduates and Staff are more than welcome to enter as well.
Most legs are short and manageable, and the emphasis is on fun & team spirit rather than speed. However there will be prizes for the Fastest Team, Fastest Solo Male & Female, and Best Team Costume. (See the photo above right for some inspiration)
