Bus service interruption - strike action cancelled
UPDATE - 21 September 2012: Auckland Transport has advised that all strike action has been called off.
The following information is from Auckland Transport.
All LINK, Metrolink, North Star, Go West and Waka Pacific bus services including school buses provided by these companies will not operate all day on the following Mondays due to strike action.
Dates :
- Monday 24 September
- Monday 1 October
- Monday 8 October
- Monday 15 October
- Tuesday 23 October
- Monday 29 October
- Monday 5 November
- Monday 12 November
Services resume Tuesday except Tuesday 23 October (the day after Labour Day) where services will resume Wednesday 24 October.
All other public transport services will operate as normal.
There may be other options available in your area including Ritchies, Birkenhead Transport, Urban Express, Howick and Eastern buses, train or ferry services. Plan ahead using the Journey Planner. Normal fares apply.

Note : The Journey Planner will continue to show Metrolink, North Star, Go West, Waka Pacific, and all LINK bus options however these services will not be in operation.
